Is there a plugin API in Xcode (4)?
I miss a lot of the brilliant extensions made for VS2008 and VS2010. ReSharper, Telerik, misc database plugins etc. are all good tools that enhance VS and makes it so good. That way some of the itches that Apple can't or won't scratch could be done by other developers.

to be frank, i would wait for the new computer which will have imovie11 bundled. i have no idea what early versions of imovie do to footage on import, but it's probably not nice. If you were using FCP it wouldn't be an issue.
fyi, mpeg4 is h.264 (kind of). h.264 is actually mpeg4 part 10, but the terms are often used interchangeably. Both however, are delivery formats.
I would import as DV since it would be the native tape based format and has less compression.

FYI, a cracked screen is not purely cosmetic.... a scratch might be. A crack can lead to moisture getting inside, or dust, etc. But on that note, once its fixed, it would be like new. Or someone can mickey mouse it.

Pokemon still going strong? :confused:
After playing Sapphire/Ruby, it feels the game is too simple. Much hasn't changed. It was acceptable for Red/Blue and Gold/Silver since they were GB/GBC games. But, with the GBA I wish they did more. Particularly the animations. And with Diamond/Pearl, I wish they would do even more.
I'll probably get both. One for me, and one for my sister. This game might be worth exchanging friend codes for.

I have been using a that crucial stick in my 15" pb and my wife in her 12" ibook. both have been running great. Just my opinion, but I would recomend getting mac certified.

None of those hard drives in my opinion. Get a Hitachi 500 GB 7200 rpm drive. Best bang for buck. It's quiet, fast, and reliable. There's a reason apple uses them and Toshiba over WD and Seagate. I've had bad experiences with the whole Scorpio line of hard drives. They were always loud and spun up and down at random intervals causing beachballs.
Thanks for the suggestion. It receives good reviews. However, I cannot find one for a good price. The best prices is $178. This is the problem with living in my country.
The reason why I posted those drives is because they are the only ones with non-exorbitant prices.

The official TRIM support is already in Snow Leopard builds for the new Macbook Pros with SSDs and it's in Lion as well. The official support is only for the Apple's SSDs, no TRIM support for third party SSDs. There is a way to enable it for any SSD that supports TRIM, but it is a hack. As for Time Team - did they find an actual full henge? (Well all the post holes)? I can't remember either... (I thought it was the local work camp and an explanation of the ritual landscape?)
I thought they found evidence of the post holes in a circle, and outside of that circle they found human remains, I do remember the ceremonial walkway between the sites, and the theory that they'd built a dock on the nearby river etc.

one thing in lion that will not get used for me is the launchpad. damn on my 27" ACD it's so big. i remember all of my installed apps and prefer to use spotlight for easy way to launch them.
I totally agree. Launchpad should run in a window. Spotlight is still the way to go for power users. Of course,normal people will like the launchpad.
