Dear Experts/Lawyers,
I wanted to ask a question about my status based on the situation described below:
1. I entered the United States on F1 Visa in 2003.
2. Applied for and got H1B approved, with the bottom right part attached. The visa was valid till November 2008.
3. Applied for and got H1B extension approved, with the bottom right part attached. The visa is valid till November 2011.
4. Never left the United States since I entered in 2003 on F1 Visa.
5. My passport expires in the middle of 2010.
Based on this, in order to ensure my legal stay in the United States, do I need to do anything except renew my passport at some point of time before it expires, in terms of either having to leave the US, or go to some agency to update something? Please suggest. Thank you for your help.

Folks make sure the A number is same in both applications, if they are different USCIS puts it aside and will not process, I found out today while getting my address verified with USCIS IO, they had entered my address wrongly.
WHile checking the IO said it was good that my wife's derivate app under me, and her self 485 App A numbers match. Otherwise, they put it in pending state forever.

swft3d max is only a plugin for 3d studio max to allow import export between the two. you need the trial full version unless you have 3d studio max.

My wife came to USA in 2002 on H4.She changed from H4 to H1 in 2004 Nov.Since then she worked continuously till now (Jan 2009).Now she's planning to take a break and change back to H4.If she wants to work again sometime in future maybe after a couple of years will she come under quota?Does she have to apply for a new H1 or can she work the remaining 2 yrs left on her H1?We missed the bus and could not apply for 485 in July.

Since she got H1 status first time in Nov 2004, she can have H1 transfer without quota only until Nov 2010. After that her H4-to-H1 will be subject to cap.

I am on H1B visa. My visa expires in April 2010. I was arrested in New York for a misdemeanor charge which was subsequently dismissed by the court. There was no guilty plea etc so under immigration law too I DO NOT have a conviction. I have all the final court docs. I am travelling to India to renew my H1B visa. I have a few questions -
(i) Is there a possibility that I am selected for 221 g screening? How long does the 221 g screen take?
(ii) Since I have a valid visa am I allowed to enter the US while they are completing the process? I have left the country before and entered on my current visa. I was sent for additional screening at the airport but had no issues since I have all the court documents.
Any insights would be appreciated

I have got my I 485 rejectd when i filed during AUG 2007 due to Improper fees but we paid the correct fees.We refiled with saying "Improper Denials of I-485 " and double packed saying byboss mail room. We tryied more than 5 times always we got back saying PD is not current. Please advice me how to proceed on this.

I think the mail room does not handle such mail. You may need to file an MTR. Contact a good attorney - I did read on Sheela Murthy's website that USCIS is improperly handling the July 17th to August 17th 2007 filing as they go by August 2007 fee schedule.
I think if it is a mistake on their side, usually theey return the MTR fees. I am not sure though.
Try contacting DHS Ombudsman's office and see how they can help.
But the first thing I suggest is to talk to a good Attorney.

Just fyi to be cautious.
There was a CBP Admission Review Squad at Washinton Dulles Airport on 11th evening. They sent all passengers from multiple flights to secondary check where they had to wait for over 4 hours. They were instances were people were not admitted or given just 1 month entry with specific instructions written on I94 that they cannot apply for EOS or AOS. This is for visiting Visa.

I have to do a emergency travel to India and I did not get my advance during that time. I went to USCIS office in person and got the advance parole and flyed to India.
Back in US I learnt from my wife that I got another copy of Advance parole which I have applied earlier. Both Parole documents look different in format and the one which I got from USCIS office does not have the SRC nubmer on it.
If my wife sends the recent Advance Parole documents via FEDEX, not sure which document I should show up at port of entry..Plese help.

Both are valid Parole documents. But technically you are supposed to have the approved advance parole documents with you before you leave the country. So it would be better for you to use the one you got from the USCIS office for this trip.
